TelEm uses FTTH or Fiber to the Home technology. Meaning, you will receive a wired connection that runs directly to your home.
Following the approval of your application, a member of our technical team will perform a site survey. During your site survey, our technicians will determine the best way for Fiber to be installed at your home. This may include, wiring paths, any additional work that needs to be done, and the best place in your home to place your modem.
Once your survey is completed, our technician will schedule a time with you to return and complete your installation. During the installation process, our technician will install a modem (ONT) that connects to the Fiber cable the comes into your home.
That’s it! Your TelEm technician will show you how to access your Wi-Fi password and ensure that your devices are working on your newly installed Fiber internet.
